If you didn’t catch the Industry Product Conference last weekend, then you definitely missed out! This annual conference for people who build, launch and scale world-class products was held at the relatively new Music Box Supper Club located in the Flats of Cleveland.
The two day experience brought together hundreds of innovators and product leaders to discuss various topics regarding innovation, changing people’s habits and telling a story with a product.
Entrepreneur and teacher, Nir Eyal, spoke about the psychology of a customer and how to responsibly change their perception of a behavior. I found this particularly interesting because he proved that branding, packaging and product experience can tell a compelling story and change the user’s attitude and habits. It made me think of all of the compelling brands that persuade consumers to think differently about their product or industry, whether it’s for good or for greed.
We learned so many new things that will make us think differently about our products and process. The informative speakers and spectacular venue made for a very eye-opening experience and we can’t wait to see what next year’s conference has in store for us!
