We were approached by the Pulse Performance offshoot brand Safe Start to develop a stand-up electric scooter for beginner riders. A thumb-activated throttle allows kids to smoothly control acceleration, and the extra wide, low profile deck makes its extremely stable and easy to control. We wanted the rear foot brake to be an easy transition from standard kick scooters, giving riders an intuitive method of braking.
